There are guided tours and feeding demonstrations throughout the
day and you’ll see everything from kangaroos to koalas to emus and wombats –
and even spotted tail quolls.
Check out the reptile house too with its resident lizards, snakes,

Getting
there
The Wildlife Park is located in East Ballarat, on the corner of York and Fussell Streets.
To get
there, catch a V/Line train to Ballarat Station and from there take bus route 8
to Fussell Street.
If you are
coming from Sovereign Hill you can catch bus route 9 to Fussell Street.
From the
Eureka Centre, you can either catch the bus route 8 or walk to the Wildlife Park (takes approx 20 minutes).
Your
V/Line ticket is valid for travel on Ballarat’s local buses.
Catching
V/Line there is easier and cheaper than you might think
$41.60 – that’s how little it costs for 2 adults and up to 4 children
travelling from Melbourne to Ballarat and back during off peak times, including
weekends.

Trains
between Ballarat and Melbourne run frequently (Timetables) and a one-way trip takes approximately 76
minutes.
If
your journey begins or ends in metropolitan Melbourne, pre-purchase your V/Line ticket. On
the day, you can use it to travel on Melbourne metropolitan public transport
from your front door all the way to your arrival station at no extra
cost. In addition, your valid V/Line ticket is also valid for travel on
Ballarat’s local bus network.
