Central Deborah Gold Mine
Experience a
tour below the surface of the Central Deborah Gold Mine, which was the last
operating mine at the end of the gold rush.
This is
not a reproduction - the water dripping through the rocks, the stale air and
dim surroundings show exactly how it was for miners who eked out a living in
these conditions.
Even a meal break consisting of a Cornish pastie and hot tea in a tin cup while
sitting on a hard wooden bench in the “crib room” keeps in theme with the
miners’ lives.

information visit Central Deborah Gold Mine’s website (new window).
