Art Gallery of Ballarat
The Art Gallery of Ballarat is the oldest and largest
gallery in regional Australia. It houses a comprehensive collection of
Australian art, including the actual Southern Cross flag. Despite a few rips
and burns, the flag has survived and is displayed in glass case in a low-lit
room for preservation. There are also temporary exhibitions, visit the Art Gallery of Ballarat’s website (new window)
