World’s Longest Lunch, Kyneton 2 March
Just a one hour train journey from the bustling city finds you in the heart of Kyneton’s Botanic Gardens. Beneath the shade of ancient trees while the river burbles by immerse yourself in the palate of produce provided by the Macedon Ranges passionate producers.

Kyneton’s Monsieur Pierre and his dear friend Mr.Carsisi will welcome you to a four course lunch matched with limited edition wines from Macedon Ranges Vignerons. Sip a glass of sparkling as you wander to the table and experience firsthand the fruits of the labour of the growers, producers, chef’s and winemakers of this region renowned for its hospitality.

Getting there
Kyneton is approximately an hour's train trip from Melbourne’s Southern Cross Station.

arriving Kyneton 11.08.

Sunbury,  Gisborne & Woodend, arriving Kyneton 11.18.

Return
The 4.26 service from Kyneton stopping in Malmsbury and Castlemaine
arriving in Bendigo at 5.20 pm.

The 4.48 service from Kyneton arriving at Southern Cross at 5.57 pm.

Event Ambassadors will meet these services and walk with patrons to the event location.  People with mobility issues should advise the organisers at time of booking so appropriate transport from the station to the event location can be organised.

The Kyneton Botanical Gardens are a 10-minute walk or a short cab ride from the station. Check Google maps for walking directions. 

A local bus to the town connects with selected services - please check the timetable on the Viclink website ahead of travelling.

Your V/Line ticket is valid for travel on the bus that connects the station to the town centre at no extra cost. If you’re travelling from a metropolitan station, you’ll also get free travel on trams, trains and buses. For more information see included metropolitan travel.

Tip: Travelling on V/Line during off-peak times is more convenient and cheaper!
