Terang Country Music Festival, 17 March

After an outstanding success of the inaugural Terang Country Music Festival last March, this year’s Festival will be held at its new venue at the picturesque Terang Racecourse, on 17 March with a top line-up.

The weekend kicks off on Friday night with free entertainment upstairs and down at Kenna’s Hotel to whet your appetite. Saturday it’s out to the Racecourse, where entertainment is non-stop from 11am until 6pm.

The Hoedown gets underway at 8pm in the “betting pavilion” and stomps well into the night, when all the bands jam together with non-stop boot scootin entertainment that is guaranteed to excite everyone.

To encourage the “grey nomads” there is free camping at the Racecourse with showers available. Accomodation is also available at Glenormiston College by phoning 5557 8200.

Getting there
Catch a Warrnambool bound train to Terang Station from Melbourne's Southern Cross Station, the journey takes about three hours. A free festival pick-up service will meet selected trains at Terang Station and service Glenormiston College. Please check the festival website for details.

If you’re travelling from a metropolitan station, you’ll also get free travel on trams, trains and buses. For more information see included metropolitan travel.
