YarragonYarragon is a quaint village with an excellent reputation for independent shopping.
Situated in the heart of the Gippsland Gourmet Country, Yarragon Village has a delightful range of food and wine that can be enjoyed in the many cafes that adorn its streets. The gourmet deli is also a local hotspot, where local cheeses and smoked meats can be savored.
The town also serves up an array of antique and craft shops which you can easily spend an afternoon exploring. Find a treasure amongst the bric-a-brac collections, discover exquisite blown glass vases and sculptures made by local artists, or stock up on the finest local produce.
The Town and Country Gallery is another must-see. View the permanent art collection and shop for handmade jewellery, clothes and ‘wearable art’.
If you are feeling a bit weary after a day of shopping, spoil yourself with a Devonshire tea at one of the local tea rooms, topped off by a visit to the local lolly shop!
Yarragon also hosts an annual Jewellery, Craft and Gem Show in January, showcasing beautiful creations.
