MoeMoe is a beautiful historical town that has plenty to offer, from scenic trails and historic walks to vibrant music festivals.
Step back in time to the 1850s and visit Old Gippstown, Gippsland's Heritage Park, located a leisurely 20 minute stroll from Moe Station. See authentic old buildings, horse-drawn carriages, agricultural machinery, and the old general store.
If you need a break from all the walking, pull up a chair at one of Moe’s many local cafes and restaurants, or head to the surrounding Lake Narracan for a quiet afternoon picnic.
Music lovers flock to Moe every March for the Moe Jazz Festival, a family friendly affair that features top local and interstate musicians and traditional jazz and blues bands. Less than one month later people congregate again for the Latrobe Rhythm and Blues Festival, which showcases the best singers and bands in rhythm and blues.
The Moe Cup in October is another event highlight; typically boasting an exceptional field of horses, the meet is a stand-out in the country racing calendar and attracts punters from all corners of Victoria.
