MaryboroughMaryborough is located in the heart of the Goldfields region, between Bendigo and Ballarat.

Your adventure starts as you step off the train at the historic Maryborough Railway Station. Built in 1890 this heritage listed building is a reminder of the wealth of the gold rush era.

Be sure to head into the town centre and visit the Central Goldfields Visitor Information Centre for ideas on what to do during your stay.

If you are interested in art visit the Central Goldfields Art Gallery. It showcases local and contemporary artists from the Goldfields region.

For the nature lover, head out to Paddys Range State Park, Maryborough Regional Park or Craigie State Forest for a walk in the local bush.

As the day turns into night explore Maryborough’s eateries and relax into the evening with some local fare.

Getting thereMaryborough is two hours and 20 minutes by train from Melbourne’s Southern Cross Station.

V/Line also offers bus services linking Maryborough with other towns around Victoria.

Tip: Travelling on V/Line during off-peak times is more convenient and cheaper!
