Old Geelong GaolThe Old Geelong Gaol has a great variety of displays that tell the history of the Gaol.

Get hands on experience of the harsh conditions prisoners and staff endured at the facility. Experience solitary confinement cells, get a taste of prison life, meet some infamous figures who have spent time at the Gaol and see the original hallows.

Getting thereGeelong is about an hour by train from Melbourne’s Southern Cross Station.

The Old Geelong Gaol is on the corner of Myers and Swanston Sreets, to the south-east of the CBD precinct. It’s about a 15 walk from the Geelong Station. Check Google maps for walking directions.
