Moomba Festival, 9-12 MarchCome run free at Moomba!
The Moomba Festival is back again in 2012. Spreading its unique magic across a bumper-packed Labour Day weekend the festival presents free entertainment, music, sport and fun family activities.
The much loved Moomba Parade, this year presented along a new St Kilda Road route, and the quirky Birdman Rally feature as old favourites in an exciting new program including four music stages, three skate competitions, a world-class waterskiing competition and interactive kids activities, workshops and performances.
It all kicks off with a bang on a very special Opening Night with a free gala concert by Victorian Opera, accompanied by Orchestra Victoria, performing ‘Opera to Broadway’ by the banks of the Yarra.
