More than 60 works from the Bodleian Libraries of the University of Oxford join items from the State Library of Victoria in a rare opportunity to view the largest and most important collection of Persian manuscripts ever seen in Australia.
The profound beauty and universal stories contained within these captivating manuscripts will transport viewers to distant lands and other times.

Getting there The exhibition is on at the Keith Murdoch Gallery at the State Library of Victoria, located at 328 Swanston Street Melbourne.
V/Line has services to Melbourne from all over Victoria, taking you to Southern Cross Station, the city’s transport hub.
By train Catch a Metro train from Southern Cross Station to Melbourne Central Station (it’s just a three minute journey).
By tram From Southern Cross Station catch either the number 24 or 30 or the City Circle Tram to the corner of Latrobe and Swanston streets.
On foot The State Library is a twenty minute walk from Southern Cross Station and a three minute walk to the corner of Swanston and Latrobe Streets from Melbourne Central Station.
