Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show

The Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show (MIFGS) will burst into colour once again at the Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens. The world renowned, 17th annual flower and garden show is the biggest in the country and is set to bring some of Australia’s best landscape and floral talent to Melbourne. Visitors can also explore the wide range of garden retail products and entertainment the whole family can enjoy. Whether you’re after creative and inspiring ideas, sustainable tips and products, innovative designs or simply a splash of colour, this show has it all and won’t disappoint.

Special offerOn Thursday 29 March get an adult entry ticket to MIFGS for $11. That's half the normal price! Simply present a valid V/Line ticket when purchasing a ticket at the entry gate

Getting thereThe Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show takes place at Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens.

V/Line has services to Melbourne from all over Victoria, taking you to Southern Cross Station, the city’s transport hub.

By tram
From Southern Cross, catch the 96 tram towards East Brunswick.  Hop off at stop number 14 and walk about 550 metres to the event. Check Google maps for walking directions. 

By train and tram
From Southern Cross, catch the train to Parliament Station.  From there, catch the 96 tram towards East Brunswick. Hop off at stop number 14 and walk about 550 metres to the event. Check Google maps for walking directions.


Your V/Line ticket allows you to travel on metropolitan trams, trains and buses at no extra cost. For more information see included metropolitan travel.

Tip: Travelling on V/Line during off-peak times is more convenient and cheaper!
