The National Sports Museum’s collection of sporting memorabilia is Australia’s largest and is located at the world-famous Melbourne Cricket Ground, a sporting institution.
In the new interactive ‘Game On’ Gallery, test your skills at archery, footy, cycling and more or say hello to Shane Warne’s 3D hologram.

Getting there The National Sports Museum is located at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Brunton Avenue in Richmond. Enter via Gate 3 of the Olympic Stand.
V/Line has services to Melbourne from all over Victoria, taking you to Southern Cross Station, the city’s transport hub.
By train The MCG is situated close to Richmond Station which is a short Metro train ride from Southern Cross. If you are travelling from Gippsland, get off at Richmond Station. Check Google Maps.
The MCG is also within walking distance from Jolimont Station. Check Google Maps.
