Getting there The National Sports Museum is located at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Brunton Avenue in Richmond. Enter via Gate 3 of the Olympic Stand.
V/Line has services to Melbourne from all over Victoria, taking you to Southern Cross Station, the city’s transport hub.
By train The MCG is situated close to Richmond Station which is a short Metro train ride from Southern Cross. If you are travelling from Gippsland, get off at Richmond Station. Check Google Maps.
The MCG is also within walking distance from Jolimont Station. Check Google Maps.
