Dance of the Rays at Melbourne Aquarium 31 March to 15 April These school holidays, a unique group of aquatic dancers will perform a natural phenomenon unlike anything seen before in Melbourne.
Over 30 new rays dance across their underwater stage in a choreographed formation rivalling the most disciplined performers, creating a mesmerising new addition to Melbourne Aquarium’s 2.2 million litre Oceanarium.
The new white-spotted eagle, cownose and southern eagle rays use their strong schooling instinct to move in mass formation, creating one of the most graceful and serene spectacles found in oceans worldwide.
With special presentations and kids art and craft activities throughout the school holidays, don’t miss your opportunity to see Dance of the Rays and learn all there is to know about these amazing animals.
