Doxa Youth Foundation

It was 1976 when V/Line started supporting Doxa Youth Foundation. At the time, their Malmsbury camp had only been operating for a couple of years, but it was rapidly growing in demand.

Doxa realised that the associated costs of travelling to Malmsbury were leaving many kids without the chance to attend the camp. Since then, V/Line has been assisting primary schools in Melbourne and country Victoria with their travel to the Doxa camps in Malmsbury and Melbourne.

The camps provide young children from disadvantaged families with the opportunity to experience educational and enriching holidays. This also gives us the opportunity to introduce these children to train travel and our associated rail safety education programs.

In times when things move so fast, and everything seems to have an expiry date, V/Line is proud to support Doxa, and contribute to the positive development of disadvantaged kids in Victoria. Our partnership with Doxa is an integral component of our community outreach activities.
