Some ground rules
V/Line is keen to have open and honest discussion about our services. While we’re happy to respond to fair criticism, remember that social media channels can be accessed by all age groups, so please keep it clean.

V/Line will moderate aggressive, defamatory, offensive, spam and political comments, content, imagery and video from its social media accounts where we can.

We welcome comments and ideas from ‘followers’ and ‘fans’, and will endeavour to join the conversation where possible. However, we are not able to respond individually to all messages received via social media channels. We aim to be responsive to general trends and significant disruptions during the weekday.

V/Line cannot engage on issues of party politics or answer political questions through its social media channels.

Occasionally social media services will be unavailable and V/Line accepts no responsibility for lack of service due to social media channel unavailability.

What we’re NOT communicating via social media
We’ll do our best to respond to general V/Line transport trends, but we are not intending to use social media to respond to individual queries. Our call centre is better resourced to help with individual issues and is the quickest and most reliable way to reach us 6am to midnight (7 days):
